Is it still useful to think of a human being having a “soul”?
Editor's Note
The concept of the human “soul” is sticky with religious meaning and the lingering belief that it could just be eternal. The term Psyche used by Plato might be a better way of talking about our identity, being and moral status.
Many articles in our blog relate to this idea of our human psyche attempting to increase its understanding and make moral progress through life. Permaculture expert Alison Ensor shows how this can arise from our contact with nature through gardening. Please add your own comments on this or offer related articles.
